Methods for connecting PEX tubing
The most common methods for connecting PEX tubing should include the following:

The first two methods have found their successful use in the assembly of pipelines with a diameter exceeding 110 mm. To perform the welding requires expensive special welding equipment and skilled personnel for its maintenance. The related costs are justified only if significant amounts of work in laying of water mains.
For the installation of pipelines with a diameter less than 110 mm is widely accepted use of mechanical connections using compression PEX fittings.
