PEX tubing installation myth
The second myth – the insecurity and fragility of the system of PEX tubing.
Virtually all the known Western manufacturers have a complex and comprehensive system to control product quality.
In Chicago, few manufacturers can boast about the introduction of such systems. As a result, the market of PEX tubing was “littered with” poor-quality products with very attractive price. Trying to reduce the price of their products, manufacturers allow the production process low-quality secondary raw materials, which will inevitably affect its properties. As a result of such pipes can such a result as the failure of engineering systems in particular, as well as discrediting the PEX tubing in general.
Despite the fact that the installation of PEX tubing is more simple in comparison with steel, but it requires a certain level of training installers to work with PEX tubing, the knowledge of the properties of material used, and most importantly – a certain technological culture.
